Description:	Please contact Carie Deems at cdeems@fhcrc.org if you would like to meet with Dr. Blask.   Dr. David Blask Professor and Head, Laboratory of Chrono-Neuroendocrine Oncology and Vice Chair and Medical Neuroscience Course Director, Department of Structural and Cellular Biology Tulane Cancer Center and Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium, Tulane University School of Medicine   ”Lighting Up the Night, Broken Timekeeping and Consequences for Human Breast Cancer Growth, Signal Transduction and Metabolism” Dr. Blask is a national leader in research in the area of circadian disruption. He is a lab scientist, and has done much of the work in experimental animals that provides compelling evidence for a biological basis for the epidemiologic findings of an association between night shift work or exposure to light-at-night and breast cancer (and more recently prostate cancer).
